How to look for jobs?

Choosing your first job, or a career, once you've left school is no easy matter. It's not surprising that you'll feel confused and not know which way to turn. What you need is advice and information.

Your teachers, especially your careers teacher, at school; your local careers officer (look under ‘Youth Employment Service' in your telephone directory); and your parents can help you.

Your local library or nearest bookshop will also prove an invaluable source of information on choosing a career.
